Our customer, an internationally renowned OEM manufacturer of power tools, faced significant challenges due to the complexity of its production lines, which handle a wide variety of product models and brands for different clients.

A major pain point was the inability to track the real-time progress and status of orders within the factory. In 2024, the company launched a comprehensive digital transformation initiative, upgrading its factory with an MES system and IoT solutions, with the DynaWo Bluetooth AoA (Angle of Arrival) locating system playing a key role.

Solution Overview:

The BLE AoA system was deployed to track the real-time locations of critical equipment and workers at key nodes along the production line. By setting up geofences to define operational boundaries for specific processes, the system enabled monitoring of the interactions between tools and workers within designated areas. This coordination provided real-time insights into order progress, which were displayed transparently on large screens for all managers to view.

Additionally, the RTLS system utilized the international omlox standard interface to seamlessly upload data to both the analytical management platform and the factory’s MES system. This integration provided two key benefits:
